One of the best features of your keychain remote is that you can arm or disarm your home when your hands are full.
And, depending on the type of service you have, you can enjoy additional convenience when you set up programs that can:
Unlock the door when you disarm your system
- From your mobile device, log in to the Digital Life app
- Tap Main Menu from the home screen
- Tap Programs
- Tap Create new program
- Tap Create custom program
First you will tell the system what to run:
- Tap Device Action
- Tap Get Started
- Tap Digital Life System
- Select Set to Disarmed Off
- Select Save
Now you will tell the system the second thing that will happen with this program:
- Tap Device Action
- Tap the Door Lock you wish you use
- Select Unlock, then Save, then Next
Now you will identify what will trigger the program to work:
- Select Automatically, based on rules
- Tap Device
- Tap Digital Life System
- Tap Is Set to disarmed Off, then Next
- You can select a specific time to run the program; if not tap Next
- Name the program (ex: Keychain Remote Disarm) and then Save
Turn on a light when you disarm your system
- From your mobile device, log in to the Digital Life app
- Tap Main Menu from the home screen
- Tap Programs
- Tap Create new program
- Tap Create custom program
First you will tell the system what to run:
- Tap Device Action
- Tap Get Started (not shown in Android if this isn't your first time setting up programs)
- Tap Digital Life System
- Tap Set to Disarmed Off
- Tap Save
Now you will tell the system the second thing that will happen with this program:
- Tap Device or Device Action
- Tap the Light you wish you use
- Tap Turn on, then Save, then Next
Now you will identify what will trigger the program to work:
- Tap Automatically, based on rules
- Tap Device Action
- Tap Digital Life System
- Tap Is Set to Disarmed Off, then Next
- You can select a specific time to run the program; if not tap Next
- Name the program (ex: Keychain Remote Lights On) and then Save
Lock your door when you set your system to Armed Away
- From your mobile device, log in to the Digital Life app
- Tap Main Menu from the home screen
- Tap Programs
- Tap Create new program
- Tap Create custom program
First you will tell the system what to run:
- Tap Device Action
- Tap Digital Life System
- Tap Set to Armed Away
- Tap Save
Now you will tell the system the second thing that will happen with this program:
- Tap Device Action
- Tap the Door Lock you wish you use
- Tap Lock, then Save, then Next
Now you will identify what will trigger the program to take place:
- Select Automatically, based on rules
- Tap Device
- Tap Digital Life System
- Tap Set to Armed Away, then Next
- You can select a specific time to run the program; if not tap Next
- Name the program (ex: Keychain Remote Armed) and then Save
